25/09/2011 Tauras - Atlantas

Last week Tauras returned to renovated home stadium after 486 days and suprisingly easily beat  Siauliai 6-2.

In last 5 games Tauras has 4 wins and 1 draw. They are showing good football. Especially worth to mention Goran Jerkovic, who scored 10 goals in last 7 matches. Lithuanian league is not famous for players, who are scoring in every game, so that's really good result.

Atlantas are one of the worst teams in the league. They lost 7 in a row already, in which scored 10 and conceided 26! I mentioned earlier that Atlantas goalkeeper is 48 years old veteran, who started playing again only 6 weeks ago, because of players shortage in team. 

But Atlantas is not so useless as it was in spring and summer. They are able to score, and they showed that scoring in last 6 matches from 7. Their last match against Kaunas finished 3-4.

Last two games between Tauras and Atlantas finished as high scoring matches aswell. Tauras won 6-0 and 4-2.

Today I expect to see another Goran Jerkovic show and something like 5-1 to Tauras.
